By using the CRAVIO laser engraving machine and its associated software (the "Service"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

Laser engraving involves high-intensity light beams and heat. By using CRAVIO products, you understand that there are inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Eye and Skin Injury: Direct or reflected laser light can cause permanent damage.

  • Fire Hazard: Engraving materials may ignite if settings are incorrect or the machine is left unattended.

  • Toxic Fumes: Some materials (like PVC or certain plastics) release toxic gases when engraved.

2. User Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the safe operation of the device. CRAVIO shall not be held liable for any damages or injuries resulting from:

  • Unattended Operation: Operating the machine without constant supervision.

  • Lack of Safety Gear: Failure to wear the provided or appropriate laser safety goggles.

  • Improper Materials: Engraving materials that are flammable, explosive, or release toxic fumes.

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any changes to the machine’s hardware or software firmware.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRAVIO (including its directors, employees, and partners) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or property damage.

  • Loss of profits or data.

  • Damage to materials being engraved.

  • Machine failure due to improper maintenance or environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, dust).

4. "As Is" Basis

All information, tools, and products provided by CRAVIO are on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, regarding their fitness for a specific creative purpose or outcome.

5. Compliance with Local Laws

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the CRAVIO laser system complies with all local, state, and international safety regulations and laws.
